Volunteer Induction

We appreciate all our volunteers, who take time to engage in our school community. Your time, skills and knowledge is enriches our school and is greatly valued.

At St Joseph's School, Kingswood, we are committed to the safety of all of our students, staff and community.

Prior to joining our school for any volunteer duties, parents/caregivers must complete and provide evidence/copies of:

Current Catholic Archdiocese Police Clearance
Current Working with Children check (obtained in conjunction with the above Police Clearance)
Responding to abuse and neglect certificate (click here for site)
Volunteer details form
Volunteer declaration form
Confidential volunteer health form

There is no cost to obtain the appropriate clearances - it just takes a little time, but once done, it does not need to be repeated for a few years.

Volunteering is such a rich experience, for both adults and children alike. There are so many ways to volunteer in our school - excursions, listening to reading, attending sport carnivals, assisting in the library or tuck shop etc.
